What kind of business insurance do you need?
Starting a business can be confusing -- you have to think through taxes, how the business will be structured, what your mission is, and everything in between. Where does insurance fit in? I bet you're too busy to spend time learning about the various types of insurance and trying to decipher what you'll need. So take that off your plate.
That's where I come in.
I'm an independent insurance agent with your best interests and needs in mind. I believe strongly in the golden rule -- if I wouldn't want it as part of my policy, I won't offer it to you. I'm a father, a husband and an Eastern Sierra business owner, and I understand the challenges (and benefits) of living and operating a business in this region. I care deeply about my community, and I'll take care of your business as if it were my own.
I understand insurance.
I've helped dozens of business owners in the Eastern Sierra get the insurance they need to safely and legitimately operate their businesses.
Types of Business/Commercial Insurance
- Business Owners Policies: A business owners policy protects all of your major business property and liability risks in one policy. BOPs are usually best for small and medium businesses.
- Commercial Auto Policies: As a business owner, you need the same kind of insurance coverage for the car you use in your business as you do for a car used for personal travel.
- General Liability Policies: General liability insurance can prevent a legal suit from turning into a financial disaster by providing financial protection in case your business is ever sued or held legally responsible for injury or damage.
- Workers Compensation Policies: In California, if you have employees (even just one!), you're required to carry workers compensation coverage. This insurance is designed to help companies pay benefits to employees if they're injured on the job.
If you're not sure what you need, give me a call and we can talk about the best options for your business.
